Send Us Your Project. We’ll Help You Write It.

A good fabric specification should do more than identify a product.

It should translate design intent into something that can actually be built.

That is where Window25 can help.

If you have an upcoming project involving custom drapery, Roman shades, interior roller shades, engineered shading solutions, upholstery, outdoor cushions, acoustical fabric solutions, or exterior shading, send it to us.

We’ll help your team develop the specification at no charge.

You do not need to have everything figured out first.

Send us as much—or as little—as you have:

  • Drawings or elevations

  • Design intent

  • Fabric selections

  • Performance requirements

  • Architectural conditions

  • Details that still need to be resolved

  • Or simply a project you are beginning to think through

From there, we can help determine the appropriate product, construction method, hardware, controls, fabric requirements, performance criteria, and coordination details needed to turn the concept into a clear, buildable specification.

Bringing the Workroom Into the Conversation Earlier

Many of the issues that ultimately affect a fabric installation are determined long before anything reaches the workroom.

Where does the drapery stack?

Is there adequate blocking?

How will a Roman shade operate at that window?

Does the selected fabric meet the performance requirements of the space?

Where will the roller shade pocket, power, and controls go?

How will an exterior shade integrate with the architecture?

Will the specified upholstery construction perform the way the designer expects?

These are much easier questions to resolve during design than during fabrication.

Window25 brings decades of practical workroom and shading experience into that process, helping the A&D team think through the details before they become problems.

The objective is simple:

Preserve the design intent while making sure the finished solution can be fabricated and perform as intended.

There Is No Specification-Writing Fee

Our specification support is complimentary.

In return, we simply ask that Window25 be included in the specification as the manufacturer/workroom for the products we help develop.

It creates a straightforward partnership: your team maintains control of the design, while our team contributes the fabrication and technical knowledge needed to carry that design successfully into the finished project.

And throughout the process, we come back to the same sequence we discussed in The Fabric Performance Workshop:

Purpose first. Design second. Fabric third.

Because once we understand what the space needs the fabric to accomplish, we can make much better decisions about everything that follows.
